TA Increaser 1KG/5KG
Features
Pool & Spa Total Alkalinity Raiser is a fine, rapid-dissolving powder which is used for increasing the total alkalinity of spa & swimming pool water.
Alkalinity is a measure of the total amount of alkali in spa water. If the alkalinity is too low, most chemicals added to the spa / pool will directly affect the water balance leading to rapid fluctuations in pH readings. Alkalinity at the correct level will help protect, or "buffer" the pH.
Instructions for Pool
- Apply when total alkalinity falls below 80mg/l (ppm) and then maintain the total alkalinity within the desired range of 80 - 150mg/l (ppm).
- Pre-dissolve the product in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 100g of product per 2.2 gallons (10lts) of clean water. Stir well to ensure the product is fully dissolved. Add the resulting solution to the pool whilst the pump(s) are turned “on”, preferably near to the water inlets to aid distribution.
- The total amount of TA Raiser can be applied in one application unless metals are present in pool water.

Instructions for Spa
Take an alkalinity reading using your test kit or test strips. You will need to raise the total alkalinity if the reading is below 80mg/l (ppm)
The Dose rate is 30g of Alkalinity Increaser per 1,000 litres of spa water. Each dose will raise the alkalinity by approx 10 - 20 mg/l (ppm).
With the circulation running, dose directly in several areas around the spa, avoiding the skimmer. only dose when bathing has ceased.
Re-test after 24 hours. If total alkalinity is still low, repeat the dose.
Maintain alkalinity between 80 - 160 mg/l (ppm).
